I am a 30 year old comms consultant that lives with her other half and three cats in South London. I swear a lot. I am the kind of person who has a greeting card stash and who buys Christmas presents in July.
I always cry at weddings, and am a sentimental sap covered in a crunchy cynical shell. I started looking at 'cool shit for weddings' when my friends started getting hitched, and then kinda carried on while I fantasised about my own. It seemed that there were a lot of cool ideas out there that I couldn't use for my wedding, but I thought I could throw it on a blog and talk about why it would work to help others.
The blog is UK-centric but may contains sites and products from the US, mainly because they are wedding frikkin' nuts over there and have way more internet space devoted to them.
My other half is an author who barely splans beyond next weekend, which, as you will see, is often frustrating for an uber-planner like me. He has very definite ideas on what he doesn't like, but isnt too sure about what he does like. He is mildly obsessed with the length of men's trousers at weddings as he thinks they are always too long.
